ANNE RICE SERIES

This collection of Anne Rice book covers are new designs for her classic vampire series. I used this project as an opportunity to explore hand done type as a solution. To emphasize each typographic approach, I illustrated energetic, gothic embellishments to surround the type. Each cover also includes an illustrated symbol for each book that exemplifies its meaning. I used a mostly muted color palette with a pop of red to reflect the vampire theme. To differentiate each book, I created a color coded system. The purpose for this relaunch would be to attract a younger audience to the series.
