SUTTER VALLEY

Sutter Valley is a premium line of cooking ingredients produced in Sutter County, California. The company’s olive oil and vinegar are known as an upscale product to impress any host. To create an upscale authenticity, it was important that these bottles could be put on display together. I took advantage of using the product as a third color for the design. It occured to me while sketching out ideas for the olive oil, that the outlines could be applied to the vinegar as well. People associate red wine with grapes which became the perfect opportunity to bring these two products together. The black and white color scheme intends to allow the product itself to be the focal point. The simplicity of the color palette and pattern were chosen to elevate these products and allow them to compliment any environment. The script fonts serve as a sense of luxury or novelty, while the serif font enhances legibility and formality of the product.
