MANGO PUSH

Mango Push is a line of organic juices produced from mangoes imported from India. As the national fruit being the mango, my stylistic approach was influenced by Indian patterns and architecture. Inspired by the energetic textiles and colorful temples throughout India, these became the focal point in my creation. By combining these sources, my goal was to attract consumers with vibrant colors while reflecting the origin of the mangoes used. 

I named this juice Mango Push to add some of my own personality to this project. “Mongo push” is a term that describes a different way to skateboard by using your lead foot to push off as the rear foot rests on the back end. Growing up, I used to skateboard to get anywhere. This fun word play is incorporated into the flavors such as, “peach grind” and “ollie berry.” Blending these terms with its Indian roots gave it a cool spin. Most people may not catch the references, but it was enjoyable to mix something I love into a project subtly.
